Old Made Pinkeeps

I couldn’t resist making small pinkeeps from this awesome Old Made fabric. Each one is 3” square x 1 3/4 high. Around each pinkeep, I hand stitched vintage trim from my stash. I made a tiny 3/4” wool pumpkin that is stuffed with wool pieces and I added it to the corner of each one. The pumpkin stem is a vintage turned glass, black pin, that is removable. I also added a safety pin with tiny beads. They are firmly stuffed with crushed walnut shells and are fairly heavy. Each one comes with a tiny pair of scissors and a pumpkin scissor fob. Travel fare is $7.50 Kindly indicate by letter A, B, or C , which one you would like. Click on picture to see others. A and C are sold

Bird Ditty Bag

I absolutely love creating these sweet ditty bags! My favorite color is red so of course there is red all through this bag! The lining is a beautiful red civil war reproduction fabric from my stash. The back of the bag and strap were made using a rich brown reproduction civil war fabric that compliments the lining perfectly. It measures 8.5” x 6.5” with a 21” strap. Fun fact about the way I do some of my bags...they are completely reversible. When I want to change things up around my house I simply turn the bag inside out and add a sprig of greenery or Sweet Annie. The second photo shows what it looks like after turning it inside out. Kindly asking $42.00 and $4.50 for travel.

Linen Heart ***twigs not included***

Old linen toweling with red stripes has been cut to form a divided pocket on a linen base heart. A vintage "underwear" button threaded with cotton twill tape (which was the purpose of these buttons) is sewn on to the center of the heart dividing the pocket. The pocket is taut, not loose, however there is room for sticking a twig or flower stem inside. At the point of the heart, there is a spot of wear, original to the toweling, adding lovely character to the piece. The heart is stuffed with wool. It measures about 7 inches tall and is about 5 inches across at the widest point.
