I only have one of each of these thread waxers right now. They're made using pure beeswax, which comes from our own hives here in Northern Ontario, and they have a wonderful honey scent. Waxers have been used for centuries by stitchers to condition their threads...it reduces fraying and tangling, and the thread glides smoothly through your fabric. Each one comes in it's own bag for storage. Price is for one waxer, with bag, and travel fare is $5.00.

Beeswax Buttons...Thread Waxers. #1,4,5,6 &7 SOLD

These pure beeswax buttons were poured using molds which were made from vintage buttons, and the wax comes from our own hives here in Northern Ontario. The buttons can be used as thread waxers for your stitching needs, or displayed as is on the cards. I printed the cards, and attached each wax button separately with floss, the same way that the old vintage buttons would have been attached. Price is for each button card, and travel fare is $2.00. Looking oh, so fine and primitive, this little yellow chick is holding a pink posey and just waiting to make you smile! An original creation by Winter Cottage. Easter Thread Waxers

These Easter themed thread waxers are pure beeswax which comes from our own bees here in Northern Ontario, and they have a wonderful honey scent. Waxers have been used for centuries by stitchers to condition their threads...it reduces fraying and tangling, and the thread glides smoothly through your fabric. The rabbits measure 2 3/4" from their base to the tip of their ears, and just under 1 3/4" wide. The set of 4 measure from 1 1/8" for the eggs, to 1 5/8" for the rabbit. They each come with their own small Spring colored bags for storage. Price is $6. for the rabbbits, and $7. for the set of 4, with travel fare of $5.

Vintage Coin Purse

I have had this fabric in my stash carefully tucked away for more than 16 years, patiently waiting for just the right use for it. I absolutely love the vintage look of this coin purse! The purse is completely lined with a sweet fabric that compliments it perfectly. I added a bronze looking safety pin, Mother of Pearl button and a tiny heart charm, and a tiny scissors charm. Primitive Doll Quilt SOLD Thank you!

Primitive Doll Quilt in blues and creams. Just like a young girl learning her sewing skills, the seams don’t match and the corners aren’t square but that’s just part of the charm of this aged and primly done piece. All visible stitching is done by hand, the fabric has been aged with pin pricks, worn out seams, and over dying for some appropriate age. The fabrics are a mix of old Feedsack solid and civil war era repro printed cottons. In keeping with 1800’s quilting traditions, the backing fabric is folded to the front and stitched down to form the binding. 9x13” Shipping is included with the price.
