These sweet little fabric baskets are 4 1/2” long x 3” wide x 3 3/4”. They are called thread catchers but really can be used for many things. I have made them out of beautiful coordinating cotton fabrics. Asking $18 each plus $8 for priority shipping. Just let me know what color you want from the photo.
I love this vintage looking cat, he was definitely one of my favorite Halloween designs to stitch. The bottom pinkeep was made using a black fabric with orange dots. The cross stitched piece was stitched on purple linen. I added a row of beads to the bottom portion and orange ricrac to the top portion. I made a creepy skull pin and also added an antique glass swirl pin. Kindly asking $65.00 and $7.50 for travel.
I couldn’t resist making small pinkeeps from this awesome Old Made fabric. Each one is 3” square x 1 3/4 high. Around each pinkeep, I hand stitched vintage trim from my stash. I made a tiny 3/4” wool pumpkin that is stuffed with wool pieces and I added it to the corner of each one. The pumpkin stem is a vintage turned glass, black pin, that is removable. I also added a safety pin with tiny beads. They are firmly stuffed with crushed walnut shells and are fairly heavy. Each one comes with a tiny pair of scissors and a pumpkin scissor fob. Travel fare is $7.50 Kindly indicate by letter A, B, or C , which one you would like. Click on picture to see others. A and C are sold
I immediately fell in love with this fabric when I saw it! My favorite childhood card game as a young girl was Old Maid. This Old Made fabric has several different sewing prints on it and each one makes me smile. The bag is 10 1/2” long by 7” wide. The strap is 22”. Attached to the top of each bag is a tiny scissor charm with orange beads. I think this bag is perfect for a seamstress’s or cross stitcher’s Halloween bag. Kindly tell me which bag you would like. Play Cuckoo, Old Made, Spooky Silk. The names are printed at the top or bottom of each bag. Kindly asking $48.00. Travel Fare is $7.50
A sweet little doll quilt loaded with lots of hand stitching across every square. Featuring shades of brown and pumpkin, this little quilt is a great addition to your autumn decor. The piece is about 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches long. The printed fabrics are cotton civil war era reproductions and a few of the solid fabric squares are cut from an old linen towel. The backing fabric is really cool and also a civil war era reproduction cotton. The backing has been brought to the front to form the binding as was a popular technique in the 1800s. The whole piece has gone through an aging dye. Kindly asking $63 which includes shipping.
I've stitched this set of five autumn acorn bowl fillers from heavy natural linen and painted and aged them for an old timey appearance. They will come signed and dated. Each is just about four inches including the stem. Perfect autumn bowl fillers or ornies. See the photo below for size comparison. You will receive five as pictured. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. *'TIS SPOKEN FOR, MANY THANKS*
I love making ditty bags and pockets! This sweet bag was made using a gorgeous civil war reproduction fabric for the outside and a contrasting civil war reproduction fabric for the lining. I added a sweet wool flower with a Mother of Pearl button for the center. It is approximately 9 1/2” long x 7” wide. The straps are 16” long. Kindly asking $42.00 and $4.50 for travel fare.
These Amish puzzle balls are both made using 36 different Moda fabrics for each one. The Amish have been making these for many years as toys for their young kids, and they make wonderful pinkeeps. They’ve both been walnut stained after finishing to give them a nice primitive look, and I’ve added a few glass head pins and a charm to each one. They measure about 4” in diameter. Price is for each one, and travel fare is $9.00 without tracking, and $15.00 with. Please let me know if you’d like tracking added. Click on photo to see additional pictures.
I absolutely love creating these sweet ditty bags! My favorite color is red so of course there is red all through this bag! The lining is a beautiful red civil war reproduction fabric from my stash. The back of the bag and strap were made using a rich brown reproduction civil war fabric that compliments the lining perfectly. It measures 8.5” x 6.5” with a 21” strap. Fun fact about the way I do some of my bags...they are completely reversible. When I want to change things up around my house I simply turn the bag inside out and add a sprig of greenery or Sweet Annie. The second photo shows what it looks like after turning it inside out. Kindly asking $42.00 and $4.50 for travel.
I’ve stitched this sweet bird pincushion from reproduction cotton civil war fabric, using my favorite shades of brown. The bird is stitched to two round pin tuffets. I’ve used an abundance of hand stitching. The bird is about ten inches long. The bottom tuffet is six inches across. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. *38.00 plus 7.75 postage in the USA* <<< 'TIS SOLD, THANK YOU KINDLY
