Teal Blue Flower Pincushion on Reddish Brown Overdyed Wool Background

Another fun flower pincushion made with overdyed teal blue wool with layers of other die cuts using overdyed wool colors. The background wool is a beautiful overdyed piece of reddish brown and a pretty matching reddish brown fabric print for the backing. It’s a nice hefty size stuffed with crushed walnut shells and some premium polyfil. Measures 5” x 4 3/4”, is about 1 3/4” thick and weighs 10 ounces. Fancy Wool Flower Pincushion Peach with Blue

This is one of my fun flower pincushions with a beautiful hard to capture the true color of the peach/pink wool and the beautiful blue small center flower. It’s really a nice size stuffed with crushed walnut shells and a bit of premium polyfil. It’s 4” x 4” and weighs 6.8 ounces. It’s got a beautiful fabric backing and I did some fun stitches all around. This was created with die cut outs using all my own overdyed wools from my stash and Sue Spargo’s yummy threads. Wool Mushroom Pincushion

My mushroom pincushion was created by using a design from Sue Spargo’s wonderful Truffle Duffle book! I used my own overdyed wools for creating it and the background wool but all the threads are from Sue Spargo’s but a few! I used stitches from her book and did my own thing with it so I hope you like it! I have added beads in spots I hope you can see in the pictures and a piece of batik fabric too. It’s a nice hefty size at 6” x 7” , about 2 inches and weighs 1 pound 7.7 ounces all stuffed with crushed walnut shells. Being so heavy shipping will be a bit more I’m sorry. This little box is the sweetest thing with the bright red peacocks gracing the top! This is another antique box I had in my collection that I absolutely love! The lid is not attached to this box and easily lifts off. I lined the bottom with a pretty complimentary fabric and added a tiny pair of embroidery scissors and a tiny little strawberry. I added some pretty red chenille trim and some black glass-head pins to the stitched piece. It’s perfect for holding your stitching needs while you create your next beautiful design. I have always loved creating these mattress style pinkeeps. These are made with different fabrics from my collection and they are stuffed with crushed walnuts shells and polyfil. I created a special patriotic pin for each of these and also created a red linen strawberry for the top of each.
