This little box is the sweetest thing with the bright red peacocks gracing the top! This is another antique box I had in my collection that I absolutely love! The lid is not attached to this box and easily lifts off. I lined the bottom with a pretty complimentary fabric and added a tiny pair of embroidery scissors and a tiny little strawberry. I added some pretty red chenille trim and some black glass-head pins to the stitched piece. It’s perfect for holding your stitching needs while you create your next beautiful design. I have always loved creating these mattress style pinkeeps. These are made with different fabrics from my collection and they are stuffed with crushed walnuts shells and polyfil. I created a special patriotic pin for each of these and also created a red linen strawberry for the top of each. I loved this Stacy Nash Primitives Design as soon as I saw it. I have been collecting antique boxes for as long as I can remember and thought it would be even more beautiful with this design attached to the top of it. I added some Blackbird Designs fabric to the inside as well as a tiny pair of embroidery scissors and a wool strawberry I created just for this piece. This box is absolutely beautiful and perfect for holding your small stitching accessories. It is approximately 7” long x 5” wide x 3” high and is somewhat heavy. Blue Ribbon Strawberry Basket

Don’t you just love the spring season and everything new that grows around this time? I had to create these wonderful wool strawberries for this season and couldn’t resist the sweet melamine berry basket when I saw it. Of course it’s also fair time and what could be better than winning a blue ribbon at the County Fair?! The strawberry is made with beautiful hand-dyed wool from Blackberry Primitives and is firmly is stuffed with sawdust. I added some vintage buttons from my collection, a sweet hummingbird charm and an antique glass swirl pin. It is approximately 6” long x 4.5” wide. I had the best time watching Bridgett making her wonderful fabric covered pantry boxes. Her instructions were so easy to follow, well I had to make a set! My covered pantry boxes are covered with reproduction fabrics. I have 4 in this set. The whole set measures 11 inches tall. They have been gently distressed and antiqued. I knew the minute I saw this sweet strawberry basket I had to create this pin-disc especially for it. It’s a pattern by Stacy Nash Primitives. I added some red jute cording around the edges and some burgundy glass-head pins. I made a perfect patriotic glass pin just for this pinkeep. Check out this dapper bunny!! I absolutely loved creating this sweet guy using a pattern by the Spotted Hare! His carrot is made from wool and stuffed with sawdust to keep your pins sharp. The bunny is made from a beautiful chocolate mohair fabric and stuffed with wool scraps. I created a glass pin just for him and added a tiny carrot pin by Pink Dragonfly Crafts. I also added a few black steel head pins and a mother of pearl button. Check out his wool fluffy tail! He is approximately 6” long, not including the greens on the carrot. Henrietta the Hen Little Pillow

Henrietta the Hen is stitched on to a little pillow (7 x 5 inch) which could be used as a pincushion or bowl filler or to add to your primitive collection. If her stitching details are not showing well in the photos please know that she is proud of her primly stitched tail feathers and a series of "x" stitching on her chest (my primitive nod to chicken scratch stitching just for fun.
