I used a pretty green fabric from my stash for the side and bottom and added a tiny vintage ric-rac trim to the edge. Fall is my favorite season so I had to create some pumpkins and crows for this update. These sweet pumpkin and crow pinkeeps are made from 100% wool and firmly stuffed with polyfil. I added some beads that spell out the word crow, some glass head pins and three black vintage straight pins. The pumpkin stem is a real stem from pumpkins my kids grew in our garden several years ago. They are approximately 5” tall x 5” wide. I have three of these available. Christmas Bird Pinkeep Drum

I absolutely loved stitching this sweet Christmas bird! The colors are so vibrant, perfect for Christmas. This one is approximately 3.5” across x 3” tall. It is firmly stuffed with fine sawdust to keep your pins and needles sharp. I added several glass-head pins, a beautiful antique glass swirl pin, and a safety pin with a mother of pearl button and some tiny beads. ***SOLD***Old Made Pinkeep

I couldn’t resist making another one of these small pin-keeps from this awesome Old Made fabric. It is approximately 3” square x 1 3/4 high. I hand stitched vintage trim from my stash around the middle of the pinkeep. I made a tiny 3/4” wool pumpkin that is stuffed with wool pieces and I added it to the corner of each one. The pumpkin stem is a vintage turned glass, black pin, that is removable. (The pumpkin is firmly attached) I also added a safety pin with tiny beads. It is firmly stuffed with crushed walnut shells and is fairly heavy. It will come with a tiny pair of scissors and a pumpkin scissor fob. Kindly asking $46.00 and travel fare is $7.50

Another beautiful design by Blackbird Designs that I just had to stitch! The fall colors in this are absolutely gorgeous! It’s a good size, perfect for your extra pins! It is approximately 4” wide x 3” tall. I used a beautiful brown fabric from my stash for the side and bottom. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust to keep your pins and needles sharp. I added some glass-head pins, an antique blown-glass swirl pin, and a beautiful pumpkin pin by Pink Dragonfly Crafts on Etsy. I also added a safety pin with a mother of pearl button, tiny orange bead, and a tiny charm. All of my pinkeep drums are hand stitched and hand sewn. Kindly asking $95.00 and $10.00 for travel fare.

I love every single design from Blackbird Designs and I’m so happy I picked this one to stitch for this Halloween! It’s a big one! It is approximately 5” wide x 3” tall. I used a beautiful gray velvet for the sides and a black printed fabric from my stash on the bottom and some antique ricrac trim. The bone button and shoe button are antiques from my great Uncle’s thread mill in Fall River, Massachusetts that I visited often as a young girl. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust and crushed walnut shells. I added several glass-head pins, two that I created and one very special cauldron pin that I purchased specifically for this.
