This pinkeep is perfect for summer stitching! It was made with coordinating paisley prints. It is approximately 4” square and 1 1/2” thick and is firmly stuffed with crushed walnut shells. The strawberry is firmly attached and has an antique bone ring on its cap. I added two wool scalloped flowers, one blue and one cream. SOLD Quillie Wool Strawberry MakeDo

This is one of my fun rolled wool quillie creations, created with strips of wool rolled together. They combined quite nicely to complete this beautiful strawberry makedo. There are countless hours of work rolling and assembling this piece. The quillies are applied to the wool strawberry, and the green woolen stem is cut from army blanket wool. Its mounted on a heavy pewter candlestick base. I’ve added a vintage repro strawberry seed tag. A one of a kind treasure that should bring you joy for many years to come! About 6 inches across and just under 11 inches tall. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. *'tis sold, thanks very much*

How sweet are these tiny bunnies?! I really enjoyed stitching this one. I used a beautiful French General fabric from my stash for the side and bottom and stitched some tiny cross stitches around the top and bottom edge. I added some glass-head pins to the top along with Mother of Pearl buttons, an antique pink glass swirl pin, and a tiny wool strawberry. Peep, Peep

Springtime brings the sound of baby chicks …peep, peep! The chick is made from cotton and filled with polyfil while the tuffet is made from hand dyed wool and filled with crushed walnut shells for stability. Heart in Hand pincushion

**SOLD**…and thank you♥️ I parted with a piece of my long treasured linsey woolsey milled in PA to make the applique stitched hand. The edges of the design were left raw and I love the time worn effect. I hope you do too. Accenting the design is a row of primly stitched "x"s on both ends. The background fabric was originally a dark tan cotton linen blend before the aging process. It appears slightly darker in person than the photo reveals.This piece can be used as a pincushion due to its 100% wool stuffing, or a prim bowl filler.
