I love vintage buttons and have a nice little collection of them. This sweet button pinkeep would look perfect nestled in amongst your sewing basket. Please click on the photo for more information.
Bees are everywhere this time of year and it seems that this year there are more than ever! I’m really excited about the way this drum turned out! She’s a queen of course, her crown shows her royalty. I added two glass head pins, a few straight pins, a pretty gold pin to match her crown, a bee charm, and some mother of pearl buttons. I’m including a pair of bronze scissors with a tiny, cream, strawberry fob. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust. Kindly asking $80.00 and $6.50 for travel fare.
I love making these sweet baskets! I used a pattern by Heartstring Samplery to stitch these patriotic flowers. The basket is made from a papier-mâché box that I padded and covered in fabric that is printed with words from the Constitution of the United States. I stitched tiny little xs around the top and down the side. I added some glass head pins, mother of pearl buttons and a tiny scissor charm. I am also including a pair of silver stork scissors and a velvet strawberry fob. It is approximately 4 1/2” x 2”. Kindly asking $80.00 and $7.50 for shipping.
This is such a sweet bird and the colors are so perfect for spring! I love this finish for smaller designs! The rectangle pinkeep is approximately 6” long by 2 1/2” wide. I added an antique hat pin to the top and some beautiful antique blue braid along the edges of the piece, both from my collection. This would look beautiful in a bowl with dried flowers or a dough bowl with other smalls. Kindly asking $48.00 and $5.50 for shipping.
I love stitching Quaker designs and thought this one would be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! The drum is 3 1/2” wide by 3 1/4” tall. I stitched it using a pretty green silk floss. The bottom and sides were made using a pretty, aged, dark green print from my stash. I added a cinnamon colored cording around the top, a safety pin with an antique bone button, and two bronze charms. I also added two antique glass swirl pins to the top. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust. Kindly asking $65.00 and $7.50 for shipping.
I love making drum pinkeeps and this tiny one was no exception. The design is by Blackbird Designs called Vintage Pincushion that I adapted and made into a drum. It’s tiny, only 2 3/4” tall x 2” wide. I aged the drum to make it look old and hand stitched chenille trim around the top and bottom. I added an antique glass swirl pin and two antique mother of pearl buttons. I also created a matching wool strawberry scissor fob and added a tiny pair of scissors. Kindly asking $65 and $8.00 for travel fare.
I love this vintage looking cat, he was definitely one of my favorite Halloween designs to stitch. The bottom pinkeep was made using a black fabric with orange dots. The cross stitched piece was stitched on purple linen. I added a row of beads to the bottom portion and orange ricrac to the top portion. I made a creepy skull pin and also added an antique glass swirl pin. Kindly asking $65.00 and $7.50 for travel.
Isn’t this bird so sweet with the tiny flower in his beak? It was such a fun design to stitch.
The pocket is approximately 9” long x 5” wide. I added gold cording for hanging which makes it 16” long. This bag is completely reversible. Kindly asking $42.00 and $4.50 for travel fare.
I love stitching patriotic designs! We live in the best country in the world and honoring our freedoms is so very important to me!
This sweet patriotic pocket was such a joy to stitch. It was stitched using a pattern by Teresa Kogut called Land That I Love. I added some white reindeer moss and three fabric pinwheels that I made from contrasting fabrics. It is approximately 8 1/2” long x 4 1/2” wide. The pocket measures 15” to the top of the pinwheels. The pinwheels, reindeer moss and stuffing are removable and the bag is reversible. Kindly asking $57.00 and $6.50 for travel fare.
