Sold! This darling pillow is a Primitive Hare design stitched on her 40 ct Boleyn linen. It's stuffed with cotton batting and wool scraps and backed with hand-dyed wool. I covered my stuffing hole with a wool applique pumpkin. Chenille yarn finishes off the edge. Buttons and a few pins embellish. The tuck pillow measure 4.5" x 6.5". Kindly asking $55.00. It is approximately 4” wide x 3” tall. I used a beautiful brown fabric from my stash for the side and bottom. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust to keep your pins and needles sharp. I added some glass-head pins, an antique blown-glass swirl pin, and a beautiful pumpkin pin by Pink Dragonfly Crafts on Etsy. I love every single design from Blackbird Designs and I’m so happy I picked this one to stitch for this Halloween! It’s a big one! It is approximately 5” wide x 3” tall. I used a beautiful gray velvet for the sides and a black printed fabric from my stash on the bottom and some antique ricrac trim. The bone button and shoe button are antiques from my great Uncle’s thread mill in Fall River, Massachusetts that I visited often as a young girl. It is firmly stuffed with sawdust and crushed walnut shells. I added several glass-head pins, two that I created and one very special cauldron pin that I purchased specifically for this. I think ditty bags are my favorite thing to make! I’ve made several different versions of this bird bag but this is my favorite so far. The bag is lined with a beautiful red floral print with a 14” long gold strap. I added a bronze safety pin, several mother of pearl buttons and a tiny bronze charm.
