I think I’m pretty smitten with these Nantucket Style baskets and love stitching sweet designs for the inside. This particular design was stitched using a pattern from a book by Blackbird Designs. I sewed some bright red vintage ric-rac from my collection around the edge of the stitched piece. I added a tiny pair of scissors with a sweet plump strawberry that is filled with wool scraps and is the perfect size for this little basket. It is 51/2” long x 5” wide.
