Prim Olde Springtime Garden Rabbit

I’ve stitched these sweet rabbits from plush felt, stuffed them firmly, and aged them with coffee and cinnamon to give them a grubby old time appearance. They have beady eyes, stitched nose and mouth, and heavy string whiskers. They are dressed in wool jackets trimmed with rusty bells. A wool strip is tied in a bow around the neck. The ears are wired and bendable. They stand on a stained pine base. It's just about 13 inches tall including its ears. It will come signed and dated. I've stitched these prim olde time rabbits from a heavy cotton dropcloth, stuffed them firmly, aged them, stenciled them on both sides as pictured, painted them with an aging coat of drab brown, and sanded them well for a worn and weathered olde finish. They have a stitched on bunny tail, beady eyes, and stitched mouth. Their whiskers are heavy stiff cord. Around their necks are a jute cord and a large rusty bell. Very prim and simply sweet. **SOLD*Penelope Bear with Paper Mache Cracked Egg

Penelope bear is all hand sewn from a beautiful soft rose imported German mohair that is hard to capture exactly in pictures! She’s much lovelier in person. I’ve used a free pattern to create her. She has imported handmade German glass eyes and is stuffed her with premium fiberfill, wood wool and weighted with glass beads. She’s a bit chunky and weighs 12.8 ounces. She is five way disc jointed and tinted with oil paints and pan pastels to age her. I dyed her little lace collar and added an old earring to it that is actually stuck into the bear itself. It has the earring back on it to hold it so it can be removed if you choose to and the collar is simply tied in back. Her little bow has been pinned down so it can also be removed if you choose. If you want it sewn to her head please let me know ( send me an email ) I’m happy to do that as well. She comes with her little painted paper mache egg that I’ve glued a pretty overdyed wool pincushion into it. The egg is 2 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” tall with the pincushion being 2 1/4” wide. Betty Sue is a sweet little bear all hand sewn made of imported vintage gold German mohair. She has imported handmade German glass eyes that are a lovely olive color. She’s wearing a little vintage dress I’ve coffee stained and sanded in spots to make it look old. She’s wearing a little vintage earring I took apart and used for her necklace, it is an old fashioned looking bow. I’ve stitched these very sweet pigs from hand dyed minty green plush felt, stuffed them firmly and aged them for an old timey appearance. They have beady lil eyes and sculpted nose and mouth. Their arms are string jointed and their legs are stitched in place so they sit nicely. They have a curly wired pig tail. They're trimmed with rusty jingle bells and a wool ruffle around the neck. They're holding a prim painted and rusted horseshoe trimmed with a wool felt shamrock. . Their heads are topped with a cloth covered paper mache hat wrapped with a wool strip and a quillie.
