Sweet Mouse on Her Tuffet Pinkeep

I had so much fun making these sweet mice! They are made of 100% wool and the little mouse is made of viscose. They are tiny, approximately 3” x 3”. I’ve stitched this sweet squirrel from some beautiful mohair. He has beady lil eyes and stitched nose and mouth. His whiskers are heavy cord. He has a wool collar and rusty bell. He’s perched atop a reproduction cotton fabric covered paper mache box to hold your sewing needfuls or what you wish. The box bottom is left as found with original kraft paper inside. The inside top has a fabric covered wood plate. Squirrel is about 10 inches long. Just under 10 inches tall, including the tail . I’ve stitched this very sweet pig from hand dyed pale wheat plush felt, stuffed it firmly and aged it for an old timey appearance. He has beady lil eyes and sculpted nose and mouth. His arms are string jointed and his legs are stitched in place so he sits nicely. He has a curly wired pig tail. He’s trimmed with rusty jingle bells and a wool braid is wrapped around his neck. He is holding a prim painted linen acorn. His head is topped with a burlap top hat trimmed with a wool strip and a quillie. This piece is just about 12 inches tall. I’ve stitched this sweet little red squirrel from heavy linen, using an abundance of hand stitches. Head and tail are stitched in place. Arms are thread jointed in place. It has beady little eyes and heavy cord whiskers. It holds a wee aged metal acorn bell and has a wool neck scarf. I’ve nestled it into one of my linen pumpkins. It has been painted, stained, sanded and aged for a perfect old time appearance. I’ve added Spanish moss. About nine and a half inches tall. Pumpkin is a little over five inches diameter.
