SOLD. Eldridge the Irish Elephant

I’ve stitched this prim elephant from old stock emerald green plush felt, stuffed it firmly, and given it a light aging. It has beady eyes and is trimmed with rusty jingle bells. A wool braid is wrapped around his neck, and he wears a spiced painted top hat. He’s holding a spring of preserved sweet annie and a cotton shamrock at his neck. Gentleman Snowy Owl Stander SOLD

I’ve created this extra prim snowy owl from plush felt, and aged him nice and dark for an old timey appearance. He has big beady eyes and a stained linen beak. He’s trimmed with rusty jingle bells and carries a sprig of home grown sweet annie. He has a woolen bow tie and a woolen top hat trimmed with Spanish moss and a rolled quillie. Prim Lil Grey Squirrel and His Acorn SOLD

I’ve stitched this sweet little squirrel from heavy linen, using an abundance of hand stitches. Legs, head, and tail are stitched in place. It holds a wee linen acorn. Nesting Birds

I love hearing the sound of birds chirping! These sweet birds are only 31/2” long but the entire nest with branches are almost 11” long. The birds are made from old prints I had in my stash. They have tiny glass bead eyes and they are each holding a tiny wool strawberry. They are sitting in a warn nest full of vintage cotton batting. Kindly indicate by letter, which one you would like. I’ve stitched these little chicks from vintage hand dyed mohair. Their tiny wings are lined with coordinating wool and stitched in place. They have beady little eyes, wool felt beaks, and tuft of wool atop their heads. They carry a tiny daffodil. They stand on a piece of painted pine. About seven inches tall and sold individually. Christmas Mouse

These sweet Christmas mice sit calmly in a vintage jello tin. Their arms are made of square nails. They are sporting a rusty jingle bell and wool scarf around their necks. Owl Bowl Filler

With the cooler temps and the leaves falling from the trees, I’ve been hearing so many owls in the woods surrounding my house, I decided to make a few for this update. This owl is approximately 7” tall to the tip of his witch hat. He is made from lightly stained osnaburg fabric and stuffed with fiberfill. His eyes are vintage upholstery pins that are securely attached and his nose is a square nail. He looks very dapper with his witch hat and his big green bow around his neck. He holds a small broom, ready for Halloween. He will come to you with a cup of dried putka pods, ready to add to your favorite bowl or crock. I have three of these available. Kindly asking $32.00 each with $7.50 for shipping. As with all of my items this is not a toy and should not be given to children younger than 12 years old.
