Miss Eliza stands 9 1/2 inches tall. Her face is stitched by hand as well as her hair. She wears a plain dress, a little bit tattered in all the right places, and all visible stitiching is done by hand. Her body is made from cotton and stuffed with local wool and shows signs of aging around the edges. Her fabrics have been aged with black coffee dye. Miss Eliza is sweet as can be and ready for travel. Kindly asking $58 which includes shipping. She was handmade by me using my own design in a pet-free, smoke-free home.

Her sweet face is stitched with cotton thread and her hair is made from a strip of wool. Her dress is made from a cotton ***fabric*** with brown flowers and stems on a cream background. The fabric has been dyed for a vintage look as well as the doll itself. She is stuffed with wool. She stands at 10" tall and at her elbows she measures 3" wide. Elsie

*SOLD* I am offering one of my handmade folk dolls. Elsie reaches about 10 inches tall and is stuffed with wool grown in Pennsylvania. She's wearing a simple cotton frock with the added frill of hand stitching around the neckline, sleeve edges, and the hem. When I came to work on her face, it just seemed right to leave it plain. I always like to create the effects that time and loving play have on a favorite doll so you will notice scuffs on the fabric from head to toe, including her frock. Please note that one of her hands has been mended by hand and the wool stuffing is visible. I love adding those sort of details to the dolls that I make. My folky and sweet little bee dolls have been stitched from muslin and stuffed very firmly with fiberfil. They has been aged, painted, and finished for a perfect old time appearance. Their ruffled skirts are sewn from primitive ticking homespun. The wings are aged and wired cheescloth. They each hold a wee painted prim basket and wool daffodil. They have a perky little twig nose, beady eyes, and stitched mouth. The antenae are rusty curled wire. They stand on a chunky wooden base. Perfect to display year round. All the visible stitching is by hand. Her dress has tiny stitches holding it together and in place. The dress does not come off. Harriet measures 11 inches tall and is stuffed with wool batting. All visible stitching is done by hand. Her hair is fashioned from a strip of dark brown wool fabric hand stitched to her head. Her dress is fashioned from reproduction civil war cotton fabric, gathered at the neckline, waistline, and hem sleeves with delicate small hand stitches. The dress hem is also stitched by hand. The fabrics used for the doll body and dress have been aged with dye with little worn spots added. Her sweet face was drawn with ink. She is signed with her name and my name as her creator. Betsy Primitive Cloth Doll

Betsy measures 8 inches tall and is stuffed with wool roving. Her face is delicately drawn with pencil and is barely visible as if loved off with lots of adoring kisses from her little girl. Her dress is simply fashioned with no frills from reproduction civil war cotton fabric. Her hair features a piece of wool roving sewn by hand to the top of her head while a piece of brown fabric covers the back of her head. The hem of her sleeves and the bottom of her dress are stitched by hand. She is signed with her name and my name as her creator.
