My folky and sweet little bee dolls have been stitched from muslin and stuffed very firmly with fiberfil. They has been aged, painted, and finished for a perfect old time appearance. Their ruffled skirts are sewn from primitive ticking homespun. The wings are aged and wired cheescloth. They each hold a wee painted prim basket and wool daffodil. They have a perky little twig nose, beady eyes, and stitched mouth. The antenae are rusty curled wire. They stand on a chunky wooden base. Perfect to display year round. They are just about 10 inches tall, not including the antenae, and will come signed and dated. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original.
