These Valentines Day measuring tapes are stitched with overdyed threads on linen, and the sides and backs of each are 2 different coordinating fabrics. The tops and bottoms are lightly padded with batting, and they measure 2 3/4” across, about 2 1/2” high, and just over 1/2”deep. Price is for each tape measure, and travel fare is 8.00. Valentine Needle Minders*All Sold**

Each of these Valentines needle minders, which I created with my fellow stitchers in mind, is stitched on linen using overdyed threads, and is lightly padded with batting. The backs are completely covered with a matching fabric. They will stay firmly in place, either on your stitching, or will attach to any metal surface, such as the base of your stitching lamp, to hold your needles. I’ve used small rare earth magnets with these, and they’re even strong enough to hold a small pair of scissors. They measure 1 5/8” across, and travel fare is 4.00. Winter Themed Thimble Purse....All SOLD****

These little Thimble Purse Necklaces, both of which are my own design, are stitched on linen with overdyed threads, and are fully lined with a coordinating fabric. They are completely stitched and sewn together by hand, and have either a matching charm, or vintage buttons attached. The purses are very tiny, and measure about 3” high from the top of the clasp, 2 1/4” across at the bottom, and the clasp is only 1 1/2” wide. Each comes with its own vintage thimble, and has hemp cording, so that you can wear it as a necklace if desired. Travel fare is $8. without tracking....let me know if you would prefer to have tracking added. ****Please note that travel time normally takes 1-2 weeks from Canada, with added delays at this time of year. Autumn Kitty Huswife

I really love all of the fall colors in this huswife! It was stitched using a pattern by Plum Street Samplers called The Autumn Tart. It has two pockets, a black bone ring for hanging, a bronze leaf charm and a wool patch to safely hold your needles and pins. I added a wonderful vintage mother of pearl button from my stash. “And Rudolf” is a design by La-D-Da. Stitched on overdyed linen, with overdyed threads, the Pinkeep measures 7 1/2” long, and 3 1/2” wide. The backing is a Moda fabric by Kathy Schmitz, and the seam is trimmed with vintage chenille that I stained with walnut ink. It is very firmly stuffed with a mixture of wood shavings and crushed walnut shells, and I’ve added some glass head pins to the front, and a sweet reindeer charm to the back. I created this Huswife with a Firmly stuffed wool pincushion (filled with crushed walnut shells ) in the middle so that it can fold up and be displayed standing.
