The design for this Witchy Huswife is from a chart by Barbara Ana Designs, and was stitched using overdyed threads on linen. I used a variety of coordinating cotton fabrics, and there are 2 nice sized pockets to hold your scissors and other stitching extras. I’ve attached a bone ring at the top for hanging, plus 3 to hold some of your threads, and there are 2 layers of over dyed wool to hold your pins. I’ve also added some glass head pins, a pumpkin charm, and a few vintage buttons. Scissors and accessories shown in photo are not included. Measurements are 14” high, and 4 3/4” wide. This is my favorite huswife that I have ever stitched. The colors are not typical Halloween colors but they really look beautiful together. I cross stitched a Quaker cat pattern in black and purple. The huswife has two pockets and a wool patch to hold your needles and pins. I added a mother of pearl button with black beads, attached with a black safety pin. There are two bone rings stitched to the top to tie it closed or to hang it. It is 15” long x 5” wide and when closed it measures 5” x 5”. Kindly asking $72.00 and $8.00 for travel fare.

Halloween Stitching Necessaire**SOLD*

For this Huswife, I adapted a design by Homespun Elegance to give it a Halloween twist. It is stitched on 35 count overdyed linen with overdyed threads. I used a reproduction fabric for the pocket and binding, and a fabric by Notforgotten Farm for the back, and it is padded with a layer of cotton batting. The heart is 2 layers of some old repurposed wool and holds a few glass head pins. I’ve also added a “Boo” charm, and the Owl thread waxer in the pocket is included. Measurements are just under 10” high, and 6 1/4” wide. Travel fare is $9 without tracking...please let me know if you would like to have tracking added. Halloween Scissors FobsALL SOLD

I created these Halloween scissors fobs, which can also be used as ornaments, from a design by Brenda Gervais. They’re all stitched on 36 count overdyed linen with overdyed threads, and the backs are a reproduction fabric. They are light weight wood discs which I covered, and they have hand dyed twill tape around the edge with glass head pins firmly imbedded. I’ve added vintage buttons, including an old shoe button on the bottom of each. Each one measures 1 1/2” across, and 2 1/4 “ from the top to the bottom of the buttons. Halloween Measuring Tapes*ALL SOLD**

These Halloween measuring tapes are my design, stitched on linen with over dyed threads. The tops and bottoms are lightly padded with cotton batting, and they measure about 2 1/2” high, and just under 2 1/2” wide. The sides, back and stem are 3 coordinating Moda fabrics with no 2 alike. For your notions, I made this sweet little grey and cinnamon notions basket. It is completely hand stitched. I used a pattern from Blackbird Designs for this piece. The grey fabric is a pretty reproduction fabric I had in my stash and the inside fabric is hand-dyed osnaburg so the tiny uneven lines you may see are from the dyeing process. It is tiny and measures 4 1/2” long x 3” wide and it is 2” deep. I made a tiny wool acorn and included a 2” pair of scissors that fit perfectly in the basket. Quaker Bee Sewing KitALL SOLD

These are small sewing kits, which I designed with the stitcher in mind. I used 2 coordinating Bee themed fabrics, which gave me the idea for the design, and they are fully quilted with cotton batting. The closure is an antique shoe button, and when opened the sides stay upright keeping all your stitching tools together, and easily accessible. I’ve added a few glass head pins, and the kit comes with a pair of scissors, and a pure beeswax thread waxer.
