PA German Fraktur style Wool Appliqué Pillow

*SOLD* Made in Berks County where PA German Fraktur has a rich history, a handmade pillow of wool appliqué is being offered. Added to the appliqué is a freehand stitched heart and date 1831. The wool appliqué is stitched on to an old piece of linen from my stash that has been aged in a coffee bath. The pillow is lightly stuffed and has crinkly corners which add to its aged appearance. The backing fabric is cotton. The size is 8 inches by 6 inches. Kindly asking $40 which includes shipping.

Large Pumpkin Hand-Appliqued Centerpiece

This pumpkin mat ate all of her veggies growing up.....she is large, measuring a full 22" in diameter!! The outer-most fabric is a mottled cotton and the scalloped black background is black wool. All the pumpkins and leaves are 100% wool and the details have been hand-embroidered. For the back of this piece, I chose a cotton fabric that has a distressed orange/rust background with faded leaves. You can flip this mat over and use the reverse side as a second option! Bird & Berry

This month I have stitched the infamous strawberry thief! We all know her and we know her babies love a juicy strawberry as much as we do. Stitched on coffee-dyed cotton using reproduction fabrics surrounded by a frame of cross-stitches and stuffed with Pennsylvania wool, this basket filler measures 6 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. Wool Applique Christmas runner

I've worked on this Christmas runner on and off over the past few years - I believe this is a pattern from Maggie Bonanomi that was in a NeedleLove book.I used hand dyed wool - the base is pieced with various squares of brown wools in a variety of textures. The vines and flowers are appliqued on with a simple straight stitch with a cotton thread. The back is another piece of hand dyed wool, They are attached with a running stitch. SOLD Primitive Rabbit Bowl Filler/Pillow

A prim rabbit has been stitched with tiny stitches and edges turned under with no exposed raw edges. The bowl filler or very small pillow ( 8.5 inches by 5 inches) is made with 100% cotton fabric and stuffed with strips of wool from my scrap basket. It is signed on the back by me. The appliqué stitching is hand sewn. The fabric has been overdyed for a primitive look. I am kindly asking $35 which includes shipping.
