SOLDStitched Shamrock Pinkeep

So primitive! A really nice reproduction fabric combined with a primly stitched applique shamrock on a field of vintage linen, surrounded on the edges with hand stitched embroidery stitches, all come together in this sweet 5 inch square bowl filler or pinkeep. The backing is another great reproduction print and is signed by the maker. That’s me, of course! Local carded wool was used to stuff the pinkeep so your pins will be kept nice and sharp and rust free. It will be packaged nicely and shipped straight away. My studio is free of pets and smoke.

Winter Whites Floral Woolen Heart

I’ve stitched this heart from vintage creamy blanket wool. The front is finished with wool flowers accented with sparkling seed beads and appliqued leaves. It can be hung or used as a pillow. Sweet Primitive Appliqué Red Geranium Pillow Tuck

I've stitched these sweet little botanical pillow tucks to comfort a gardener's weary winter heart.... I've cut red geraniums from hand dyed woolens and stitched them onto vintage seed catalog prints on assorted aged linen remnants. They’re accented with tiny seed beads. The backing is a heavy woven fabric in the same natural color. They are roughly 3-4 inches x 8 inches. Sold individually.... choose your option. 1809 Ditty Bag

My favorite thing to decorate with are these sweet ditty bags! They can hang anywhere and can be filled with greenery or left empty. This one was was stitched on polka dot linen using a pattern by Shelly Auen of Primitive Stitchin’. I hand appliquéd holly leaves above the stitching. It is fully lined with a pretty red checked fabric and backed with a Christmas floral fabric. It has been heavily stained with coffee and vanilla and smells so good. The bag is 8” long x 71/2” wide. I love working with wool; it’s such a soft fabric to work with. This bag is made from a beautiful teal blue wool, with wool pumpkins, and a wool crow appliquéd on. It’s completely lined with a gorgeous rust and black floral print. The bag is 8 1/2” x 6 1/2” and the strap is 20” long. I think this would be a great bag for handing out Halloween candy. It’s nice size, 10” x 8” and the strap adds another 20”. It was made using a cream and black stripe Family Heirloom Weaver’s fabric and it’s completely lined with a tiny polka dot black fabric. I appliquéd an orange wool Oct 31 and a black wool bat and then added a pumpkin face button, trimmed with wool. Kindly asking $58.00 with $7.50 for shipping.

Small quilt. (Fundraiser for local food bank)

Sold BUT taking orders. I wanted to do something to help with all the many needs our communities have at this time. To that end, the purchase price of this little quilt will be directly sent to my local food bank. I wanted you to know that your purchase will be helping those in need of a little extra help right now in my community. I am taking orders if this one is sold before you get to it. Just contact me through email if interested. With a nod to our stay at home orders, and fears and uncertainty, I designed a little doll quilt featuring an angel watching over a home. The words say “Angels watch over thee.” The design is stitched by hand with a combination of appliqué and primitive cross stitch. The fabrics have been dyed to add a vintage charm. The areas surrounding the design have been quilted with cotton thread. The quilt will be signed by me on the back. It measures 10.5 inches by 14 inches.
