Small quilt. (Fundraiser for local food bank)

Sold BUT taking orders. I wanted to do something to help with all the many needs our communities have at this time. To that end, the purchase price of this little quilt will be directly sent to my local food bank. I wanted you to know that your purchase will be helping those in need of a little extra help right now in my community. I am taking orders if this one is sold before you get to it. Just contact me through email if interested. With a nod to our stay at home orders, and fears and uncertainty, I designed a little doll quilt featuring an angel watching over a home. The words say “Angels watch over thee.” The design is stitched by hand with a combination of appliqué and primitive cross stitch. The fabrics have been dyed to add a vintage charm. The areas surrounding the design have been quilted with cotton thread. The quilt will be signed by me on the back. It measures 10.5 inches by 14 inches. I am kindly asking $65 which includes shipping. Be well!

Heart & Mitten Pillow

I love this piece. It combines so many things that I love that I'm hoping you'll love too. Let's start with the red striped old linen towel used so many times it was wrought with holes so I carefully cut a large mitten shape and then I primly embroidered a heart on it. "Hands to work, Hearts to God" but in the winter, well, it needs to be a mitten. The mitten was primly stitched to one of my favorite civil war repro cotton prints. It's stuffed with cotton batting and scraps of cotton so it has a wonderful primitive look and feel. Measures about 9" x 6". Kindly asking $40 and this includes shipping. The pillow will be carefully packaged and put in the post after payment is received.

Cross My Heart Pincushion

Cross My Heart...here's a sweet pincushion or bowl filler made from a red striped toweling with an applique red wool heart embellished with cross stitching. I am offering dolls and quilts tonight so please take a look around. Thank you. The piece is stuffed with polyfil. After payment is received, your purchase will be carefully packaged and put in the post for you. Kindly asking $22 which includes shipping.

Sweet Hearts Doll Quilt

I'm happy to be offering this sweet heart of a doll quilt. Four appliqued hearts,**samplers** of red, stitched in the center surrounded by red and brown fabrics set in rows and squares make this a perfect Valentine's Day display. All the visible stitching is done by hand with cotton thread. And there is lots of stitching on this one! The fabrics have been aged with an over-dye and several frayed pin pricks and worn spots are scattered across the quilt adding to its charm. The backing fabric is brought to the front to form the binding which is a common finish from the 1800's. Please click through the photos to view close ups. Measures 15 x 12". Price includes travel fare. Your purchase will be tenderly packaged and ready for delivery as soon as payment is received. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Sold***Pumpkin Table Runner

This table runner is just perfect for your fall decorating! I used a pattern by Primitive Gatherings for this sweet runner. The background was made using a 100% wool that is a perfect white and beige check fabric. It measures 10.5" wide and 30" long. The pumpkins are also wool and I used three different orange fabrics to create the pumpkin friends. I just love the silly primitively stitched grin on the middle guy’s faces. I used Valdani threads for all of this runner. Kindly asking $68.00 and $7.50 for travel.
