With Valentine's Day approaching and our hearts turning to those we cherish, I have made for you a sweet little prim pillow featuring the humble flower with so much sentiment attached, the forget-me-not. The applique designed is stitched on a piece of aged linen, with a mix of cross stitches, fabric applique, and old buttons. The pillow measures 7 inches by 7 inches and is stuffed with scraps of wool fabric and wool batting. It has a slightly heavy primitive feel as a result of the wool stuffing. The purchase price includes shipping and kindly asking $57. This item has been handmade in my pet-free, smoke-free home tucked away in the rural hills of Berks County, PA. A very prim stitched pillow that features a black crow sitting under sunflowers. French knots and cross stitches in cotton thread are worked on a piece of dyed linen. Strawberry Basket bowl filler

Stitched on an old piece of linen that has been hand dyed is this sweet little strawberry plant sitting in a basket. I've used a combination of applique and prim stitching to create this piece. The piece is stuffed with wool and features a sweet little floral print on the back. It measures 5 inches square. My signature is on the back. I am kindly asking $25 plus $4 shipping.

Red Flower small pillow or bowl filler

Primitive red blooms and stitched stems grace the center of this small pillow or bowl filler. The piece is worked on a hand dyed piece of toweling with red striping framing the center design. All cotton materials on the outside and wool stuffing on the inside. A wonderful vintage style floral fabric is the backing for the pillow. This small pillow measures 8 inches by 6 inches. Always Hearts Doll Quilt

Two stitched hearts with the word "always" stitched freely below the hearts. The doll quilt is made from all cotton fabrics and quilted by hand with primitive stitches. My work is always treated as if it has been well-loved and long held so you will find a few carefully pricked and frayed areas to add a lovely endearing quality to the piece. In keeping with this, the fabrics have been hand dyed for age to fit the character of the piece. The fabrics are great! I think you will love this doll quilt. Measures approx. 14 inches by 11 inches. A snowman wearing a red long stocking cap is primitively stitched by hand on this sweet little stocking. The top edge is finished with brown thread stitching and a twill tape loop and little vintage button. Measures 8 inches from top edge to bottom toe. The loop is two inches tall. Stitched star stocking

Hand stitched stocking featuring 2 primitive stitched stars and aged cotton. A border of brown thread and a wintry blue-gray vintage button finish off the top edge. The stocking and loop made from twill tape has been dyed using my aging technique. Measurement from top edge to bottom of toe is 8 inches. The loop adds 2 inches to the total length. Thankful

Hand stitched Thanksgiving quilted piece, designed and created by me. Fabrics used are reproduction 1800s and have been aged for a primitive look. The acorn is made from a lovingly stashed piece of repro brown polished cotton from my civil war reenacting days. Polished cotton was often used as lining for bonnets, bodices, and vests during the 1800s. I hand stamped the word "thankful" and appliqued an acorn for a seasonal Thanksgiving piece. This would make a great mat under an autumn scented candle as there is plenty of space for the design to show. Measures about 8..5 inches by 11 inches. Kindly asking $45 which includes shipping.
