I have shown the back of the quilt in the main photo because the diamond pattern stitching shows clearly. It fades into the fabrics on the front and less noticeable in the photos. With all its quilting-induced puckers this little doll quilt brings antique charm to your primitive collection. Brown civil war era cotton prints were cut and sewn into a traditional “bar” setting. The quilting is done in 2 diamond patterns down the center and a straight row of quilting down each side. The quilting is prominent on the back and you may want to display it with the back showing. I have done all I could to lend an aged appearance to this quilt from the “school girl” naive stitching to scattering a few worn areas in the fabric across the quilt, and by leaving the puckers from the quilt as is without ironing them out. The quilt measures 11 inches x 14 inches. Hand stitched in my pet free, smoke free home.
