My first offering is this vintage little tin, with a lovely old patina, that I’ve used to create an ornament out of it. I have sewn the snowman onto several pieces of fabric including either wool, lace and/or cheese cloth. Then I’ve glued everything down into the bottom of the tin. Using waxed linen I tied a knot thru a small button, then drilled a hole thru the top of the tin to pull the waxed linen loop thru it and glued the button to the top of the tin to be able to hang the ornament. The snowman is all handsewn out of wool, stuffed to make into balls, attached to each other and then added small vintage glass beads for eyes and buttons. He has an acorn cap and I’ve also glued in some sisal trees in the tin as well. The snowman is 1 1/2” tall, the tin is 3 1/2” tall by 2 1/2” wide. If you have any questions please ask.
