Good evening all... welcome to our December update. I've created some offerings for you to close out the year with. I hope you"ll like what you see. Please note, with the update so close to the holiday I will mail Friday morning as always but there is no guarantee that your items will make it to you before the holiday. Please keep that in mind when ordering. Most of this months listings can be displayed throughout the winter season....

My primitive belsnickles are one of my favorite things I create each year. The face is paperclay molded from a vintage mold. It’s attached to a stump muslin body, and painted. I’ve used beautiful hand dyed shaggy vintage mohair for the coat and hat. He carries a brass bell and little bleached and dyed tree. His waist is tied with a jute cord and a woolen scarf is wrapped at the neck. A rusty jingle bell is stitched to the tip of the hat. He stands on a chunky stained wooden base. My folky and sweet little Raggedy Ann doll has been stitched from linen and she is stuffed very firmly with fiberfil. She’s been aged, painted, and well sanded for a perfect old time appearance. Her dress is sewn from reproduction cotton prints reminiscent of earlier days. The bloomers are natural cotton.
She has perfectly prim hand stitched facial features, and hand dyed wool hair which has been felted in place. She is approximately 17 inches tall and will come signed and dated. *tis spoken for, thank you*
I’ve created this folky Santa with a hand sculpted one of a kind paper clay face. He has hand painted features and my favorite primitive churro beard and hair. He’s dressed in primitive coverlet fabric and wool. A rusty jingle bell is stitched to the tip of his hat. He has a long wool scarf and his waist is tied with green jute rope. This is one of my fun wool quillie Christmas stars, created with strips of cut wool rolled together. They combined quite nicely for this beautiful folky star. There many hours of work rolling and assembling this tree, and a ton of wool so it's quite heavy for its size. They are adhered to a wool stuffed star, which hangs with a rusty wire loop. It's about 14 inches from side to side... A one of a kind treasure that should bring you joy for many years to come! *tis spoken for, thank you*
I’ve stitched this prim bear from creamy plush felt, and aged him nice and dark for a perfect old time appearance. He has beaded eyes and a stitched nose and mouth. His legs are stitched in place and he has thread jointed arms. He’s dressed in his finest woolen ruffled and braided collar, and little greenery hat. He's carrying a prim painted basket with little wrapped present, and a handmade spun cotton candy cane. I've stitched rusty bells on his tummy. He's just darling. He will come signed and dated. I've created these extra prim grainsack winter hearts from heavy natural linen. They're stuffed firmly with fiberfil. I've stenciled in olde time grainsack style a winter sentiment as pictured. I've painted them, aged them deeply and added rusty jingle bells and heavy rusty wire hangers. Hearts are just about ten inches across and twelve inches long, including the hanging loop and bell. The heart is adorned with a wool braided hanger and rusty bell on the tip. Additionally I've added an antique skeleton key dangling from a hank of antique buttons, a wool snowflake trimmed with a rusty bell, and some wool quillies in shades of Christmas *spoken for, thank you*
I’ve taken one of my wooly pine trees and adhered it inside a paper mache box I've stenciled with a candy cane advertisement. i've packed around it with crumpled kraft paper and wrapped the base with Christmas hued coverlet fabric. The branches are filled with my handmade ornaments, felted glittered snowballs, spun cotton candy canes, pressed paperclay snowflakes, and rusty bells. Just over 17" tall.
