I’ve stitched this folky prim elephant from heavy linen fabric, aged it, painted it, and sanded well for a weathered old time finish. It has a fabric 1776 star design stenciled on each side. He has a linen painted sailor hat. Very prim and simple. About 12 inches long and 9 inches tall, not including the hat. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. *tis spoken for, thanks very much*
I’ve created this extra prim owl from plush felt, and aged him for an old timey appearance. He has big beady eyes and a natural linen beak. His stovepipe hat is stitched from blue wool and accented with wool. He’s trimmed with rusty jingle bells and carries a brass liberty bell and handstitched cotton flag. He has a small patriotic drum and a small red wool tie. He stands about 14 inches tall, and is mounted on a heavy rustic pine base. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original.*tis spoken for, many thanks*
I’ve created these prim olde time Uncle Sams. They’re stitched from muslin, with hand stitched and painted facial features and felted hair and beards. They are dressed in vintage corduroy or ticking coat as shown, and cotton pants. They are carrying an aged flag and brass liberty bell. Atop their head is a fabric covered paper mache hat. Sold individually, pick your number from the drop down menu. He stands about 15 inches tall, and is mounted on a heavy rustic pine base. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original.*Sams are spoken for, many thanks*
My sweet patriotic angel doll has been stitched from muslin and cotton star fabric and is stuffed very firmly with fiberfil. She’s been aged, painted, and well sanded for a perfect old time appearance. She has perfectly prim hand stitched and painted facial features, and rusty jingle bell hair which has been stitched in place. Her skirt is ruffled patriotic ticking homespun fabric. Her wings are natural osnaburg. She carries a wee prim painted basket. Her bloomers are stitched from a vintage cotton napkin. She’s perfect to display year round. She is just about 16 inches tall, and will come signed and dated. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original.*tis spoken for, many thanks*

I’ve stitched this sweet summer bear from hand dyed plush felt, stuffed it firmly and aged it for an old timey appearance. He has beady lil eyes and stitched nose and mouth. His arms are string jointed and his legs are stitched in place so he sits nicely. He’s trimmed with painted wood star buttons. He's wearing a lined striped sailor collar, painted linen sailor hat, and compass print neck accent. He is holding a prim lil painted basket with rustic sea shells. This piece is just under 12 inches tall.*tis spoken for, many thanks*
