I've created these rustic little easter baskets in my vintage molds, using a mix of paper mache and paperclay. They have wired paper handles and I've painted and aged them. To each basket I've added one of my wee mohair chicks, with beady eyes and wool beak. I've tied a small "Springtime!" tag to each handle. Nine available. Just over 5 inches tall, including the handle. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home. *$18.00 each plus $5.00 shipping fee in the USA*
I’ve created this prim strawberry doll from natural linen with a reproduction antique seed catalog print. . Her muslin head and arms have been stitched neatly in place. She’s stuffed firmly, aged, painted and sanded for a prim worn appearance. Her facial features are hand stitched and painted. Her skirt, collar, and strawberry stem cap are wool and her hair is sheep’s wool, felted in place. She is mounted on a chunky stained pine wood base, edged with wool. She stands at just under 12 inches tall. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. Be sure to click through for all the pictures. *spoken for, thank you*,
I’ve stitched this very sweet pig from hand dyed pale green plush felt, stuffed it firmly and aged it for an old timey appearance. He has beady lil eyes and stitched mouth. His ears are stitched in place, he has gusseted tummy, and he has a curly wired pig tail. Atop his head is a little woolen stovepipe hat. . He is holding a teeny woolen spring flower bouquet. He has a woolen bow tie with rusty jingle bell, and a stained wooden tag with seed catalog print. This piece is just under 11 inches long and 7 inches tall. He will come signed and dated... *spoken for, thank you*

A sweet piece for spring or anytime. I've created an egg with vintage wool and mounted on a stained and painted makedo base. I've appliqued red wool geraniums around the entire egg. They're trimmed with little czech beads. Atop is a cute mohair bunny with beaded eyes, stitched nose and mouth, and heavy cord whiskers. Ears are wired and bendable. His neck is wrapped with a woolen strip and he's holding a beaded geranium. Down the side dangles a stained wooden tag with antique geranium reprint. A one of a kind treasure that should bring you joy for many years to come! Just under 14inches tall. They're topped with wool greenery and an aged stem from my backwoods. They're each just about 4 inches long, not including the stems.
