Good evening all... I'm back from my show and so happy to create at a slower pace. It's so much more enjoyable! I've created some offerings for you to close out the year with. I hope you"ll like what you see.

I’ve created this folky Santa with a hand sculpted one of a kind paper clay face. He has hand painted features and my favorite primitive churro beard and hair. He’s dressed in primitive flannel. The stocking he’s tucked into as well as his hat are coverlet fabric in Christmas hues. A rusty jingle bell is stitched to the tip of his hat. He has a long wool scarf and his waist is tied with green jute rope. He is adorned with a hand dyed sisal tree and a vintage brass toy horn. just about 14 inches long... I’ve created these prim reindeer from plush felt and aged them nice and dark for an old timey appearance. They have beady eyes and a jingle bell nose. Their antlers are chunky forked twigs. Their necks are wrapped with a wool strip. Their arms are string jointed and can be repositioned as you wish. I’ve nestled them permanently with moss and faux greenery inside a heavy 4.5 inch painted peat bucket trimmed with an aged clay crockery stamp. My primitive belsnickles are one of my favorite things I create each year. The face is paperclay molded from a vintage mold. It’s attached to a stump muslin body, and painted. I’ve used beautiful hand dyed shaggy vintage mohair for the coat and hat. He carries a brass bell and little bleached and dyed tree. His waist is tied with a jute cord and a woolen scarf is wrapped at the neck. A rusty jingle bell is stitched to the tip of the hat. He stands on a chunky stained wooden base. My folky and sweet little Raggedy Ann dolls have been stitched from linen and are stuffed very firmly with fiberfil. They have been aged, painted, and well sanded for a perfect old time appearance. The dresses are sewn from reproduction cotton prints reminiscent of earlier days. The bloomers are natural cotton. They are adorned with a small hand dyed sisal tree and a rusty tree bell. They have perfectly prim hand stitched facial features, and hand dyed wool hair which has been felted in place. They are approximately 13 - 14 inches tall and will come signed and dated.
