This evening I’m offering my sweet bear Buttercup and her little Ohio Art Mart Tin pincushion. Buttercup is made from beautiful soft imported German mohair. She has been sewn all by hand. She has beautiful amber colored handmade German glass eyes. I have stuffed her with a premium polyfil, wood wool to give her a softer squishy belly, plus glass beads for weight in her butt and some in her legs to help her sit nicely. She’s been tinted with oil paints and pan pastels. I gave her a little lace collar I made out of rust and coffee dyed lace I did. She will come with her little vintage Ohio Art Matt Tin hand sewn overdyed wool pincushion and glass head pins. I have tried hard to capture the color of her beautiful mohair but it actually changes in various lights! She weighs in at 11.5 ounces!
