Betty Sue is a sweet little bear all hand sewn made of imported vintage gold German mohair. She has imported handmade German glass eyes that are a lovely olive color. She’s wearing a little vintage dress I’ve coffee stained and sanded in spots to make it look old. She’s wearing a little vintage earring I took apart and used for her necklace, it is an old fashioned looking bow. I used oil paints and pan pastels to age her and stuffed her with premium fiberfill and glass beads for weight. She is 5 way disc jointed. Betty Sue stands 7” tall to top of her head, sitting she’s 6” tall and her butt is 2 1/2” wide. She comes with her little cracked paper mache egg that I painted and have glued in a small over dyed wool pincushion inside. Penelope bear is all hand sewn from a beautiful soft rose imported German mohair that is hard to capture exactly in pictures! She’s much lovelier in person. I’ve used a free pattern to create her. She has imported handmade German glass eyes and is stuffed her with premium fiberfill, wood wool and weighted with glass beads. She’s a bit chunky and weighs 12.8 ounces. She is five way disc jointed and tinted with oil paints and pan pastels to age her. I dyed her little lace collar and added an old earring to it that is actually stuck into the bear itself. It has the earring back on it to hold it so it can be removed if you choose to and the collar is simply tied in back. Her little bow has been pinned down so it can also be removed if you choose. If you want it sewn to her head please let me know ( send me an email ) I’m happy to do that as well. She comes with her little painted paper mache egg that I’ve glued a pretty overdyed wool pincushion into it. The egg is 2 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” tall with the pincushion being 2 1/4” wide.
