Yankee Girl Dry Goods

❤️Handmades from my heart❤️

Welcome to Yankee Girl Dry Goods!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My name is Michelle Blanco.  I grew up in western Massachusetts where my grandmothers taught me how to crochet and sew, and to bake the best apple pies!  The name Yankee Girl came from my love of all things Massachusetts.  I love to use antiques and vintage items in everything I create whenever possible. Knowing that the things I create are comprised of objects with a history of their own makes it even more special.

Please feel free to reach out to me to purchase, with any questions you might have, or even just to say hello; I would love to hear from you!

I know this is not exactly Christmas related but I just couldn’t resist! I love making these tomatoes so much and thought a strawberry on top was the perfect choice. This was made using beautiful hand dyed red wool from Blackberry Primitives. I added a few mauve glass-head pins, a beautiful handmade spool pin from Pink Dragonfly Crafts on Etsy, and a silver heart in hand charm. It’s firmly stuffed/filled with 2 1/2 - 3 cups of crushed walnut shells to keep your pins and needles sharp. The pink strawberry is firmly attached to the tomato. It is approximately 4 1/2” tall. Kindly asking $90.00 and $10.00 for travel fare.
