A huswife originated as a cloth sewing kit used by soldiers during the civil war. It usually held things like thread, needles, extra cloth, and thimbles. Blues and browns were so common together during colonial times so I had to use them to create this huswife. In this huswife you’ll find a small pocket, bone rings to hold your floss, a wool snippet to hold your pins and needles, a few bronze charms, and a vintage button card.
