I've created this extra prim heart from heavy natural linen. It's stuffed firmly with fiberfil. I've stenciled in olde time grainsack style with a sentiment of love, Always and Forever, for Valentines Day, or for every day. I've aged it deeply and added it to a grapevine wreath. I've created these extra prim hearts from heavy natural linen. They're stuffed firmly and I've stenciled it them with olde time conversation heart sentiments, grainsack style.. I've painted them with a wash of drab pastels, and aged them deeply. Sold in sets of five as shown. I have three sets at this time. Each is about four and a half inches wide. SOLD Quillie Wool Christmas Heart Hanger

Once again I'm working on quillies, one of my ways to cope with the winter hours. I've created two hearts for Christmas and wintertime. They're created with strips of wool rolled together and they combined very nicely for these beautiful heart hangers. There are countless hours of work rolling and assembling these pieces. The quillies are applied to the front side of a stuffed wool heart. I’ve added a beautiful braided wool hanger... A one of a kind treasure that should bring you joy for many years to come! Wool Stocking...

For your consideration, a wool stocking. The stocking is made from an antique wool blanket, adorned with an antique glass bell ornament, vintage pine and ribbon. The toe has an antique fabric patch as well. It measures approx. 16" long from top of loop to bottom of toe. Stocking is sold. Thank you!!

Uncle Sam to the rescue!

Uncle Sam stands 17” in full glory. He wears a pair of patriotic suspendered pants and in true fashion, his suspenders crisscross in the back. His black shoes peek out of his pants and his hat is made from white wool. He holds a beautiful American Flag. Sammy would make an awesome addition to any home!

Potted Wooly Pine Tree

I’ve created another small batch of my rustic woolen pine trees from vintage army blanket wool. They're fringed, wrapped on the wire stems, and attached to the pine base. They are mounted on a chunky pine base inside a heavy peat bucket which I've painted drab green . I've added a rustic paperclay angel, which I've aged and gilded. Just about 10.5" tall. Blue Striped Stocking

Blue is a favorite color of mine for winter decor. I thought it might be for you as well, so I stitched up three stockings from a blue striped cotton fabric that was dyed with cinnamon tea. The top opening is hand stitched with an old vintage button and twill tape loop added. Measures about 9 inches long, not including the loop, and 3 inches wide at the top. Kindly asking $12 each which includes the shipping cost. One or all three would make a darling addition to a garland for your mantle or window. Add to a wreath or even use as a gift tag on a package. I don't have any more of this fabric so these three are the only ones available. Handmade in my pet-free, smoke-free home.

PEACE Stocking

As the holiday season is upon us, my mind has gone to a holiday sentiment that seems even more poignant right now: peace. This deep red cotton stocking bears the word "peace" written free-hand in ink. The loop is made from cotton twill tape. So many uses for this stocking. Add to a wreath, garland or mantle filled with goodies, or use as a gift tag on a brown paper package tied up with string.
