SOLD Sweet Prim Snowman in Vintage Bucket

I’ve stitched this sweet lil snowman from osnaburg. He's been stuffed firmly, aged, and painted. He has beady eyes, twig nose, and a stitched mouth. He sports a coverlet hat and aged woolen scarf. He has beaded buttons. He has a prim little tree bell dangling from his scarf, and a rusty bell sewn to the tip of his hat. He has twiggy arms and He is tucked inside a vintage bucket with some faux greenery and moss. Bucket is about 7.5 inches diameter. He’s about 11” tall including his hat. Primitive Early Style Santa Ornies

This is an old pattern, but still one of my favorites to make! Santa Ornies are made with linen that has been gently antiqued. I have needle sculpted their noses and embroidered their eyes. Santa ornie hats are painted barn red and gently distressed, then an added rusty bell. I have trimmed with a piece of felted wool. Their beards are needle sculpted with sheep's wool. Each Santa Ornie measures 5 inches tall and will hang with a waxed string. Pattern is from Sweetpea's Primitives. I have six to offer, each sold separately. Mr. Frost

I just love making snowmen for the Holidays and especially these guys. Mr. Frost is made from duck cloth that has been heavily grunged with my special spice mixture for a nice primitive look. Primitive Snowmen Heads

Snowmen heads are made from linen that has been grunged with my special spice mixture. His nose has been painted orange and I have added a little snow and sparkle. He wears is favorite top hat also sprinkled with a little snow and sparkle. They each have a rusty jingle bell on their hats. I have made three snowmen heads. These guys will certainly put a smile on your face They measure 11 inches tall and will hang nicely. They would also look so nice in a wooden bowl of filled with greens. Nicola Santas

Just in time for the Holidays, I have made three Nicola Santas. They have been made with linen that has been gently antiqued. They have black bead for their eyes and real sheep's wool for their beards. I have made their coats with some of my own over dyed red coating fabric. I have added some rusty bells down the front of his coat. He holds a sweet little bottle brush and a tiny pantry box. He measures 13 inches tall. I have three Nicola Santas, each sold separately. St.Nick and Parson Brown

I have had this beautiful pattern for many years. I was intimidated to try it, there are so many steps to make it. Well, I decided to give it a try! St Nick and Parson Brown are made with linen that has been gently antiqued. I have made his coat and hat from felted wools. His beard is made with sheep's wool. The sweet little Parson Brown sits proudly in front of St.Nick. He is also made with linen that has been gently antiqued. He has small branches for his arms and a scarf made of wool. All the bottle brush trees and wreath have been painted with Rittenhouse Green paint. They are all securely attached to pantry box. I have painted the pantry box with Rittenhouse Green also with a black under coat.Then I have grain painted a wavy design. I have carefully added deco paper with music notes to the top edge. After I was finished, I added a coat of antiquing. I have also painted and antiqued the inside of the pantry box. I must say this was a challenge to make, but I am very happy with the results!
