SOLDLarger Snowman on Green Star Pincushion with Trees

This snowman is a bit larger and is handsewn all out of some overdyed wool made into stuffed balls all then all sewn together. He’s sitting on one of my small star wool pincushions with a vintage button on the bottom as a base. He’s got little arms, an acorn cap and his own (3j sisal trees. The snowman is 2 1/2” tall to the top of his head. The pincushion is 4 1/2” wide and the whole pieces measures 4 1/2” tall. If you have any questions please ask. SOLDTin with Snowman and Red Sisal Tree and 2. White trees

My next offering is another vintage little tin, with the same lovely old patina, that I’ve used to create an ornament out of it. I have sewn the snowman onto several pieces of fabric including either wool, lace and/or cheese cloth. Then I’ve glued everything down into the bottom of the tin. Using waxed linen I tied a knot thru a small button, then drilled a hole thru the top of the tin to pull the waxed linen loop thru it and glued the button to the top of the tin to be able to hang the ornament. The snowman is all handsewn out of wool, stuffed to make into balls, attached to each other and then added small vintage glass beads for eyes and buttons. He has an acorn cap and I’ve also glued in some sisal trees in the tin as well. The snowman is 1 1/2” tall, the tin is 2 1/2”tall by 3 1/2” wide. If you have any questions please ask.
