Hello! My name is Tammy Ruiz and I’m a fourth-generation crafter located in Western NY.
When in my happy place, there is always some type of fiber and a needle or hook in my hand. Through the years, I've found that my preference tends to be “unplugged” with my go-to’s being mostly all hand work such as hand quilting, punch needle, rug hooking, rug braiding, repro antique samplers and wool applique.
Having a vintage style, collecting antique items and attaching a stitched piece to them is also a fun hobby of mine. Whether it be through creating, collecting or decorating, may you also receive as much joy preserving our fiber history!
Let's think "Spring"!
"TULIP", the happy little bunny is hopping us into the Spring season with her golden tulip & olive border, while burgundy flowers and her full sampler alphabet complete the scene. The alphabet has been stitched in a "milk chocolate" tone thread. "Tulip" has been professionally double framed using an inner 1" wide linen (chocolate in color) and metal (bronze) frame, finishing with an outer 2.75" wide antiqued ivory frame, all under a museum-grade non-glare glass. The back of the frame is finished with framing paper, rubber bumpers and a wire hanger.
The foundation stitching linen measures 6" wide by 7.25" tall.
Total dimensions including the double frame are: 13.25" wide by 14.5" tall.
