PILLOW, PRIMITIVE CANDLEWICK. Sweet little Hand Candlewick Pillow . I found the starts of this pillow at a flea market and just KNEW it needed to be finished. The pillow measures 19 inches by 19 inches square and has been tea stained to enhance it's primitive look. Candlewick pillows were first popular in the 1050's so I'm sure this sweet piece is at least 50 years old. It just needed to be finished. What a treasure! ((I can also make horses, cats, and piggies, just ask!!)) This sweet little sheep was sewn by me using my hand dyed Dorr Mill wool. The sheep is 7 inches tall by 10 inches long and about 4 inches fat. This little sheep is stuffed with poly-fil stuffing and has 3 rusty bells tied around it's neck. So very cute and small and will look so cute on your tabletop or a mantle. I used a very old primitive pattern without a name on it. I adjusted it just a bit to stand better.
