These small Valentine Pinwheel Drums are stitched from designs by Sablaise. They measures 2 1/2” across, about 1” high, and are stitched on linen with overdyed threads. The sides and bottom are 2 coordinating Moda fabrics, and I’ve firmly stuffed them with a mix of sawdust and ground walnut shells. I’ve stitched a wool heart on the bottom, and black glass beads around the edge. I’ve also added some glass head pins, black mourning pins, along with a few vintage buttons.
