This Valentine Heart is an older design by French designer Celine. The drum measures 3” across, and about 2” high, and is stitched on linen with overdyed threads. The sides and bottom are 2 coordinating Moda fabrics, and I’ve firmly stuffed it with a mix of sawdust and ground walnut shells. I’ve added a wool heart on the bottom, and some glass head pins, and black mourning pins, along with a few vintage buttons to the top.
