I love creating the rolled wool strips called a quillie to make the perfect flower in mustard and brown! I stitched these into an oval shape and the stem and leaves are cut from a hand-dyed green wool. They are attached to one of our Steeple White boxes with a sliding lid. Each is stitched in place with tiny straight stitches. I used a piece of linen which has been darkened with a distresser ink for a nice prim look. The box measures 8" x 5" x 3". The finish is wrapped around a piece of foam board and glued to the box. Pictures appear lighter than the actual color. Shipping is included in the price and comes from a smoke free home!
