I’ve stitched this folky pumpkin doll from muslin, with stitched facial features, pointy nose, and an abundance of hand stitched details. His body is a replica antique Bliss Garden Seed print. Arms and legs are linen. I’ve aged it, painted it, and sanded well for an old time finish. He has a curly muslin pumpkin stem atop his head and painted laced boots. He is dressed in homespun trousers. Around his neck is a woolen scarf with a wooden tag with antique pumpkin print. A dried gourd dangles to the side. About 24 inches long.
