I’ve created this prim olde time Autumn Santa in keeping with my theme this month. He’s stitched from muslin, with hand stitched and painted facial features and felted hair and beard. He’s dressed in wool and flannel with rusty bells stitched down his coat. He has a wool belt and brass buckle. He’s carrying one of Matthew’s awesome log buckets, a prim walking stick, and an aged dried gourd. He has some preserved sweet annie and autumn candy cane tucked in his belt, and a wee painted batting pumpkin at his feet. He stands just under 15 inches tall, and is mounted on a heavy rustic pine base.
