I created this wonky little piece using hand-dyed wool, linen, and Valdani threads. Designed and entirely hand-stitched by me! The design features a hand-stitched wool appliqué heart, which I mounted onto one of our handmade sifter frames. The mat measures 7.5 inches by 7 inches. The background and the border are crafted from hand-dyed Blackberry Primitives linen, while the wool heart is made from hand-dyed red wool with small pennies.. I added some decorative embroidery stitches along the border. It is backed with a brown cotton fabric. The piece is stitched to the sifter frame in the top two corners, and shipping is included in the price.
