I’ve created this sweet heart makedo from striped coverlet fabric, stuffed it firmly, and mounted it on a painted wood candlestick. I’ve stitched a prim reproduction fabric bird to the top. A chain of pearl buttons and a tiny key dangle from its beak. A small ticking heart and wool quillie are stitched in place to complete the piece. About 12 inches tall. It will come signed and dated. Created with many loving stitches in my smoke free home, a Sassafras Hill original. *’tis spoken for’ many thanks!*
