This Shamrock Needlebook, which is a design by Prairie Schooler, is stitched with silk threads on overdyed linen. It is completely padded inside and out, and I’ve used 2 coordinating Moda fabrics. The inside has layered wool to hold all of your needles, and a pocket which holds a mini pair of scissors. I’ve added a few glass head pins, some vintage buttons, and a charm, and it closes with an antique shoe button. It measures just over 3 1/4” square.
