I stitched this drum on 35 count linen, with silk threads, and the sides and bottom are 2 coordinating Moda fabrics. The design is an adaptation of a Plum Street Samplers design. It is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, crushed walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender giving it a nice soft scent. I’ve added some glass head pins and some vintage pearl buttons to the top. The drum measures 3 1/2” in diameter, and about 2 1/4” high, and it comes signed and dated. Travel fare is $8.50.
