This drum is a Heart in Hand design, stitched with silk threads on linen, and is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, and crushed walnut shells. The sides and bottom are 2 coordinating Moda fabrics, and I’ve added a few glass head pins, black mourning pins, and a few vintage buttons. The drum measures 4”in diameter, about 2 1/2” tall, and comes signed and dated. It has a small pair of scissors and fob made with vintage buttons and beeswax, so you can wax your threads when stitching. I’ve attached a hook on the side of the drum which holds your scissors.
