This Patriotic Huswife is a design by The Needle and I, and was stitched using overdyed threads on linen. I used a variety of coordinating cotton fabrics with a layer of cotton batting between, and there are 2 nice sized pockets to hold your scissors and other stitching extras. I’ve added some glass head pins and a few vintage buttons…the beeswax thread Waxer is also included. It buttons up when folded with an antique shoe button.
