Made in Berks County where PA German Fraktur has a rich history, a handmade pillow of wool appliqué is being offered. Added to the appliqué is a freehand stitched heart and date 1831. The wool appliqué is stitched on to an old piece of linen from my stash that has been aged in a coffee bath. The pillow is lightly stuffed and has crinkly corners which add to its aged appearance. The backing fabric is cotton. The size is 8 inches by 6 inches. Kindly asking $40 which includes shipping.
