Harriet measures 11 inches tall and is stuffed with wool batting. All visible stitching is done by hand. Her hair is fashioned from a strip of dark brown wool fabric hand stitched to her head. Her dress is fashioned from reproduction civil war cotton fabric, gathered at the neckline, waistline, and hem sleeves with delicate small hand stitches. The dress hem is also stitched by hand. The fabrics used for the doll body and dress have been aged with dye with little worn spots added. Her sweet face was drawn with ink. She is signed with her name and my name as her creator.
