She is one of my favorite rug hooking artists and I love that she is branching out into offering her folky rug hooking designs into wool appliqué and punching. The one I’m showing here is called Heartfelt Promise and was punched with Valdani pearl cotton. It is stuffed with cotton batting and wool scraps and backed with hand-dyed wools. Rusched ribbon finishes off the edge.
