Pin Feathers is a beautiful folkart bird on a Saltbox House. All punched using Valdani Threads. I have securely attached to a whale's tail hornbook. I have painted, distressed and antiqued for a nice primitive look. The piece measures 10 inches high and just under 7 inches wide. Lovely pattern from Brenda Gervais. I have made more stockings for this offering! Again, this is my handmade red ticking stocking, with an embellished cream colored cuff at the top, complete with faux pine roping and red berries. I have added my punch needle round Santa face design. The stocking measures about 11"H x 3 1/4"W . I used a mix of Valdani and DMC thread to punch needle the Santa face. This would look great embellishing a wreath, filled with tissue and used on a fireplace garland, added as a tie-on for a package, hanging on a tree, placed in a basket, etc....so many ways to use this stocking!
