She is one of my favorite rug hooking artists and I love that she is branching out into offering her folky rug hooking designs into wool appliqué and punching. The one I’m showing here is called Heartfelt Promise and was punched with Valdani pearl cotton. It is stuffed with cotton batting and wool scraps and backed with hand-dyed wools. Rusched ribbon finishes off the edge. Mixed Media Journal

This mixed media journal has a canvas cover that has been inked with a punchneedle Robin mounted on the front surrounded by DMC twisted cord.The inside back & front covers have scrapbook papers modgepodged on.The notebook style binder holds 6 lined journal pages & 8 plain pages that have been inked & stamped with inspirational quotes. A hand-dyed ribbon decorates the braded in binder clip. The robin was designed by Lori Brechlin - Notforgotten Farm . I punched with Valdani pearl cotton thread. Wool Pocket Hanger with Punchneedle Egg

I've created this wool pocket from Dorr wool and lined it with a cotton lining. I've stitched my whimsical chick punchneedle egg to the front. It's trimmed with vintage buttons and I've added a braided wool hanger. It's nine inches long, not including the hanger. It will be shipped via first class mail in a padded mailer unless you request otherwise.
