The applique designed is stitched on a piece of aged linen, with a mix of cross stitches, fabric applique, and old buttons. The pillow measures 7 inches by 7 inches and is stuffed with scraps of wool fabric and wool batting. It has a slightly heavy primitive feel as a result of the wool stuffing.
