I am offering this punch needle patriotic star that has been mounted on an antique oil can. I used a piece of 100% navy wool for the backing and used a strip of the same wool to tie around the base of the oil can. This piece measures about 4 1/2" x 3". The design was punched using a mix of Valdani and DMC thread. A tiny old button was sewn in the center of the star. Thanks for your visit today to PHM.

It was made using a mix of Valdani and DMC thread and stuffed with natural cotton. I also sewed a backing on, made of a piece of 100% overdyed wool, in a complementary color. I am offering these sweet Heart and Hand pillows for today. These sweet pillows were made using 100% wool and some chenille yarn trim. I sewed a backing of some cotton, mini polka dot fabric that matches the color of the front, wool background material. Chenille yarn trim was sewn around the edges of the pillow.
