***CLICK IMAGE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTO***..."Grow your Love" is one of my new designs for 2025 and was inspired after reading Philippians 1:9-11. It has been made using a mix of Valdani and DMC thread and has some slightly raised areas on the heart and the veins on the leaves (dimensional punching). It has been mounted onto an old wooden finial that has long since lost most of it's paint. A backing of 100% wool in a warm cream color has been sewn on and a strip of 100% hand dyed green wool has been tied around the finial top. This folk art piece measures about 8"H x 4 1/4"W. I had a very unique and patinaed wooden porch spindle remnant (I think the term could also be patinated, but is code for very worn) and thought it would be grand for a punch needle piece! This design was made using a mix of Valdani and DMC thread and has a piece of 100% wool for a backing and a strip of 100% wool as a tie at the spindle's top. The piece stands about 9 3/4"H x 2 1/8"W at the base. It is stuffed with a natural cotton. Thank you for your visit to PHM today.....Spring is coming!

Looking forward to Spring, I am offering my bluebird/heart design that has been fashioned into a sweet pin keep pillow. The piece was made using a mix of DMC and Valdani thread. This pin keep pillow measures about 6" H x 4 1/2W". I have sewn a piece of 100% wool onto the back in a color that is seen in the bottom of the heart design...a beautiful antique dusty rose.
